i am remodeling my parents kitchen but i am 13 and i need some great ideas like what to put in there or give me a website i need all the help because my parents have done so much for me and i want to do something to help them my budget is around $500-$600 dollars. thanks

I resently redid my kitchen…sand, prime, paint, new hardware…took brown varnish to…a vanilla cream, yellow, and crome modern kitchen. I’ve been in construction for 25 years and I’ve remodeled kitchens are you looking for ideas? most of the time it depends on the layout of the area to be remodeled and if there is any other area than can be opened up or an adjoining room that area can be taken from. I live in a small town and never took pictures of the projects. Most of the business was word of mouth.
I am looking to remodel my kitchen. I am stuck here alone in the office for the day (with nothing to do but babysit the telephone) and figured that I would work on my kitchen remodel and toss some visual ideas around.
Is there a good FREE website that I can play around with my ideas and concepts? One with GOOD visuals and easy to use would be best. I tired Home Depot and Lowes, but none of them let me "view" my kitchen ideas.

IKEA has a program you can download for free. Just plug in your measurements, then pick your cabinets and appliances.

We just bought a 1951 ranch house and the kitchen needs upgrading, but I want to keep the original 1950’s theme. I’m looking for websites, magazines or books with ideas on cabinets, countertops, flooring, appliances, furniture, window treatments and accessories from this era.
i’d use vintage 1950s good housekeeping or better homes and gardens magazines, or find an interior decorating book from the 50s era. It might cost you $20 or so, but would include many photos and instructions on your design. you could probably find one on ebay. retro is back in a big way and finding replacement appliances (the look at least) to match your kitchen will be easy. try the sources below, and good luck.
